Megan
FOUNDER
Megan was a competitive dancer up until college and eventually got into health and fitness in all of the wrong ways. She developed disordered eating and exercise habits that lasted most of 2019-2020 until she sought help from her loved ones and made a positive change. In February of 2021, she decided that she wanted to become a personal trainer to help others from falling down the same rabbit hole and provide simple and effective guidance for beginners in the *intimidating* gym. She moved to NYC and worked at a corporate gym for the next year. She took a leap of faith and began her own independent training business. Megan created the Coastal Strength Collective as a way to provide a safe, accessible, and welcoming space for beginners in the gym, both in NYC and San Diego.

Savannah
I’m originally from Northern California but moved to San Diego for college in 2020 and fell in love with the city. I played competitive soccer my whole life but never really was a part of a gym. With covid shutting down classes, I got into health and fitness in my free time and got certified as a personal trainer to begin helping others throughout their own journeys. I’ve worked with many types of people in the weight room from beginners all the way to Paralympic athletes.

Lindsey
I grew up doing martial arts and competitive gymnastics, so movement has always been a huge part of my life. After graduating from UCLA I went to work a corporate job like the rest of my peers but I realized that what really lights me up is helping people feel strong, capable, and proud of what their bodies can do. I’m not here to yell in your face or hand you a cookie-cutter workout—I’m here to meet you where you are, challenge you when you’re ready, and remind you that fitness can actually be fun (I promise!). When I’m not at the gym you can find me surfing some waves off our beautiful coast or in the kitchen cooking my favorite meals.
